NOTE:
These are all Level Three Excersizes. Only to be tried by those who are in excellent physical condition. Michael uses the handles to achieve a push up excersize. Using the handles create a fluid motion and an inner core excersize not achieved by pushing up from still or flat location. Having the arms move freely as the body follows through its natural motion provides a more fluid excersize in the shoulders, lats, and chest. | |
Michael is using his own weight to train his core body. That is core fitness training, using your own body weight to strenghten the whole body. | |
His arms are used to being on a solid platform to do push ups. That fluidity his muscles are working against provides more focus and a more direct connection to balance and stabilty while training those muscle groups. It is a better more enduring workout. | |
Michael is now using a padded bar now to focus his workout on less side to side balance and more forward to back. Easier than the handles but a slightly different workout. | |
With this padded bar, his body weight and leverage can be shifted more forward or back depending on the part of the muscle he is working. | |
Remember the strength of the product arms. This is a 6 4 285lb man! He is large and the arms are holding him easily, fully supported and able to achieve the core fitness workout he wants. | |

Another beautiful aspect of this product is that is on the bed. It has a very comfortable under pad, so if you were using it for pushups, the mattress gives a little as the workout commences. This is easier on the joints as you are working out and it also is still a little fluid still possesing the benefits of that fluidity so you are training your stability at the same time as your muscles. | |
With any pushups, you wnat to keep your back straight as possible, incling to push the chest out and your neck back alittle - so it is straight. | |
Speed of the pushup is also important. You want to do methodical and even pushups. Slow is better especially at first. | |

Michaels legs int he seat strap are supporting the weight and comfortable to glide with his body as his arms are doing the work. | |
Using the natural spring of the mattress is completely different than a platform surface. It enables more balance and the training your muscles need to assist in developing an enhanced, deeper strengthening. | |
