Michael is demonstrating the upper body push-up. Here his body is suspended above the bed for core stability and overall balance. It allows for the workout to zero in on the specific muscle group, while preventing cheating when pushing up and down. This is because the muscles are having to also compensate for the floating handles that move the natural way the body shape and weight needs to move to increase overall stabilty and balance. At this point his arms are at widest position due to the size of his chest. |
As Michael moves up, his weight and arms are moving slightly wider as his chest expends and retracts. As he rises, his body will compensate using his stability, and will draw the arms together with the floating handles. This is the correct way to workout as your body needs to train and grow stronger, a point many physical therapy machines tend to NOT allow. Balance and stabilty are very important for working out the core muscle groups. |
Michael demonstrates the longest arm extension, which results in the most movement with the handles. THIS IS AN ESSENTIAL PART OF THE STRENGTHENING AND CORE STABILITY WORKOUT. This is where the body will gain essential balance, which in turn strengthens the muscle groups at an alarming rate, enhancing recovery or overall better athletic balance, whatever the desired result. |
Michael is focusing his energy and stabilty on the upper torso while strengthening his arms, one at a time. His legs are leveraged and locked, while his waist is comfortably floating and hinged at the correct spot for pinpointing muscle focus. |
Here Michael is demonstrating the use for One Arm Pushups. Controlled, precise, comfortable. |
